HOMEWORK FOR THIS WEEK (16-20 MARCH) 5º Y 6º NAVEROS

Hello!!!
Aquí os dejo la tarea para esta semana. Si no tenéis en casa el cuaderno de inglés, tenéis que hacerla en cualquier otro cuaderno o en folios.

1. REPASO Y ESTUDIO DE VERBOS IRREGULARES. 
Vamos a repasar los que ya os sabéis, y vamos a añadirles 3 más (los mismo para 5º y 6º):

• draw, drew, drawn (dibujar) 
• give, gave, given (dar)
• lose, lost lost (perder)

Podéis repasar los verbos con los juegos que tenéis en la otra entrada del blog ( tercer ciclo).



2. ST. PATRICKS DAY. 
Vamos a leer un pequeño cuento sobre los leprechauns, que son unos seres fantásticos tradicionales de Irlanda.

 Al terminar la lectura, abajo del todo hay varias preguntas: tenéis que contestarlas en el cuaderno. (No hace falta copiar la pregunta, solo la respuesta). Además tenéis que buscar verbos irregulares en el texto y copiarlos en vuestro cuaderno.

ME HABÉIS DICHO QUE HAY PROBLEMAS CON LAS PREGUNTAS,  ASÍ QUE PARA LOS QUE NO LO HAYÁIS HECHO TODAVÍA, OS PONGO AQUÍ LAS 4 PREGUNTAS QUE TENÉIS QUE CONTESTAR: 

1.  Why did Leary tie his red scarf around the tree?

to show that he caught a leprechaun

to mark where the pot of gold was buried

It was too warm to wear the scarf.

2. What was the leprechaun doing when Leary found him?

making shoes

digging up a pot of gold

tap dancing

3.  What happens when a leprechaun is caught?

He has to tie a red scarf around a tree.

He has to dance and sing.

He has to show where his gold is buried.

4. How did Leary try to get rich?

He tried to find a leprechaun and his gold.

He searched for a rich wife.

He worked hard and saved all his money.

3. PAST CONTINUOUS AND PAST SIMPLE
Vamos a repasar el past continuous y el past simple con las siguientes actividades. Recordad el truco:

WHEN + past simple (-ed, segunda columna)

WHILE + past continuous ( was/were +ing)

Y por último, tenéis que hacer este ejercicio en el cuaderno. Copiando la frase y completando con el verbo en el tiempo verbal que corresponda ( past simple o continuous) . Tenéis que hacer los siguientes: 1, 2, 4, 5,6 ,7, 8 y 9.
